The Dream Chapter was about stars and magic. The Chaos Chapter begins with all of that swept away. BIGHIT describes a boy whose peaceful life is crushed by the real world, until someone appears and becomes his whole world. Then, less than three months later, a repackage asks him to choose: FIGHT or ESCAPE.
The story: frozen, then in love
The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE is TXT’s second studio album. The Weverse Shop lists its release date as May 31, 2021. Official album introduction
BIGHIT’s introduction takes a darker turn:
- The new chapter “begins where dreams have been swept away by the towering presence of the real world.”
- Events like the COVID-19 pandemic crash into the boy’s once-peaceful life.
- As his world crumbles, he feels insignificant, empty and frozen.
- Then “you” appear. With “you,” he experiences love and believes that “you” are his real and only world.
BIGHIT also noted where TXT stood by then. After minisode1 : Blue Hour reached a new global high, it called them “Leaders of K-pop’s 4th Generation.”

Track order and lengths: official discography page. The Weverse Shop listing gives tracks 4, 5 and 7 under their Korean titles.
Two small details. Magic is the shortest song, at 2:40. And What if I had been that PUMA brings back the puma from The puma that escaped the zoo, the Korean title of PUMA on ETERNITY.
0X1=LOVESONG: the lead video
The 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori video went up on May 31, 2021, release day. It was directed by Yong Seok Choi and Guzza (Lumpens). A choreography version followed.
Our take: The title reads like a formula: zero times one is still zero, unless love changes the math. It fits BIGHIT’s story of a boy who feels like nothing until “you” arrive.
What Weverse Magazine noticed
Weverse Magazine, HYBE’s own magazine, called FREEZE the story TXT’s albums had been building toward, and the birth of “young adult K-pop.” Weverse Magazine: What to expect from FREEZE
Its review traced how the songs connect to earlier ones. In PUMA, from ETERNITY, the boys could simply keep running. On FREEZE, What if I had been that PUMA shows that carefree time has ended, and they now have to face hard choices. The magazine also described 0X1=LOVESONG as the moment the frozen boy’s heart changes because of “you.”
