Most K-pop discographies are a list of releases. TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s reads more like a novel. Its album titles are grouped into named chapters: Dream, Chaos, Name and Star. Read in order, the official album introductions follow five boys from a dream to the real world, then toward adulthood and love.
This guide gives you the members, the story so far, and three ways to start listening, depending on how much time you have.
Who are TOMORROW X TOGETHER?
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, or TXT for short, is a five-member group from BIGHIT MUSIC. One detail trips up a lot of new fans: according to the official profile, the name is read as “tomorrow by together.” The X is read as “by,” not “ex.” Official profile
The five members are SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI. Their first music video, CROWN, came out on March 4, 2019, from their debut album, The Dream Chapter: STAR.

The story in four chapters
Here’s the arc, told through the official album introductions. The quotes come from BIGHIT MUSIC’s discography pages. The comments marked “Our take” are ours.
The Dream Chapter (2019–2020): meeting someone special
BIGHIT introduces STAR with a simple idea: star is another name for dream. The debut is about the “happiness and excitement of meeting that special someone.” The story opens with Blue Orangeade and closes with Nap of a star. STAR introduction
Their first full-length album, MAGIC, followed. Its first music video came out in October 2019. It describes “magical adventures” with friends who are “different, yet alike.” Its lead single is 9 and Three Quarters (Run Away). Around it, New Rules talks about wanting to make your own rules for the world, Roller Coaster captures a moment that’s scary and exciting at once, and Angel Or Devil sings about two inner voices that never stop arguing. MAGIC introduction Then, in May 2020, came ETERNITY, carrying a hope that their time together will last eternally. It opens with a song called Drama and has Can’t You See Me? as its title track. BIGHIT also points to PUMA for its unusual lyrics and Eternally for its experimental feel. ETERNITY introduction
Our take: This is TXT at their brightest. If you like bright, youthful pop, start here.
A minisode: Blue Hour (October 2020)
Between the named chapters, TXT release shorter albums called minisodes. The first, minisode1 : Blue Hour, came out in the group’s second year, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The official introduction calls the boys “the kings of innocence.” Its five tracks are Ghosting, Blue Hour, We Lost The Summer, Wishlist and Way Home. Blue Hour introduction
Our take: A song called We Lost The Summer, released in a pandemic year, hardly needs explaining.
The Chaos Chapter (2021): when the real world arrives
Then the mood changes. BIGHIT says the Chaos Chapter “begins where dreams have been swept away by the towering presence of the real world.” Its first album, FREEZE (May 31, 2021), includes 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori. The repackage, FIGHT OR ESCAPE, added three new songs, including LO$ER=LO♡ER. FREEZE introduction
The next minisode, Thursday’s Child (May 9, 2022), is described as “a post-farewell recollection.”
Our take: If the Dream Chapter was the opening of a coming-of-age film, this is where the plot twist lands.
The Name Chapter (2023): standing at the edge of adulthood
TEMPTATION (January 27, 2023) depicts “youth on the brink of adulthood” who want to “linger in the freedom of Neverland.” Its lead single is Sugar Rush Ride, and the five songs include one called Farewell, Neverland. TEMPTATION introduction
Nine months later, FREEFALL (October 13, 2023) picks up the thread. After “delaying their adulthood,” the boys “finally decided to face reality.” The album includes Chasing That Feeling and Back for More with Anitta, along with songs titled Growing Pain, Happily Ever After and Blue Spring. Even the song titles tell the story of growing up. FREEFALL introduction
minisode 3: TOMORROW (April 1, 2024) tells the story of a boy who remembers a past promise. One song, I’ll See You There Tomorrow, sings of faith in a reunion. Its music video is Deja Vu.
The Star Chapter (2024–2025): love, in many forms
SANCTUARY (November 4, 2024) begins with two people meeting again under a starry sky. They choose to stop running away and face reality. The songs move from that first moment together (Heaven) to hope for a shared future (Over The Moon). BIGHIT says the album explores “love in its many forms,” and its music video is Over The Moon. SANCTUARY introduction
Then TOGETHER (July 21, 2025), their fourth full-length album, marks “the final page of The Star Chapter.” It was their first studio album in one year and nine months. The title track is Beautiful Strangers. TOGETHER introduction
Our take: The name STAR returns at the end, almost like coming full circle. The debut said a star is a dream. The latest chapter is named after it.
Five things to notice
- The members wrote a song together early on. BIGHIT says Maze in the Mirror on ETERNITY (2020) is the first song written by all five members.
- Unit songs came later. Lonely Boy and Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go on Thursday’s Child were TXT’s first two unit tracks. The members also made creative contributions to every track on that EP.
- ETERNITY reworks an older song. It includes a remake of Fairy of Shampoo.
- They’ve brought in guest artists. Happy Fools on TEMPTATION features Coi Leray. Back for More on FREEFALL features Anitta.
- Each member has a TOGETHER video. After Beautiful Strangers, HYBE LABELS released a video for each member: YEONJUN’s Ghost Girl, SOOBIN’s Sunday Driver, TAEHYUN’s Bird of Night, HUENINGKAI’s Dance With You and BEOMGYU’s Take My Half.

Quick answers for new fans
Do I need to follow the story to enjoy the music? No. The chapters give the albums a shape, but every song works on its own. The story is a bonus if you want more.
What’s the difference between a chapter album and a minisode? Chapter albums carry a chapter name, like The Dream Chapter: STAR. Minisodes, like minisode1 : Blue Hour, sit between them and don’t carry a chapter name.
Is there a repackage I should know about? Yes. The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE repackages FREEZE. It has eleven tracks: the original eight plus three new songs. Our FREEZE guide covers both.
