2020 was TXT’s second year as a group, and the world was dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. TXT answered with a short album about innocence. Its title song’s Korean name reads like a line from a diary: 5시 53분의 하늘에서 발견한 너와 나, “You and I, found in the sky at 5:53.” Another song simply says 날씨를 잃어버렸어, “I lost the weather.”
This is minisode1 : Blue Hour, the first of TXT’s “minisodes.”
What’s a minisode?
TXT’s main albums carry a chapter name, like The Dream Chapter or The Chaos Chapter. The minisodes sit between them. Blue Hour came out after The Dream Chapter ended with ETERNITY, and before The Chaos Chapter began with FREEZE.

The story: the kings of innocence
BIGHIT’s introduction starts with a look back. After ETERNITY, TXT had topped “Top Album” charts in 50 countries and regions, and one of their songs was named “2020’s Song of the Summer” by Radio Disney in the U.S.
Then it sets up the new album. The five members return as “the kings of innocence.” It’s their second year since debut, and the world is facing the “unique and unprecedented challenges” of the COVID-19 pandemic. TXT come back with “innocence uniquely TOMORROW X TOGETHER” and stories only they can tell.

Blue Hour: the title song
The Blue Hour video went up on HYBE LABELS on October 26, 2020 at 6 p.m. KST, directed by Guzza (Lumpens). Each member had an individual teaser first. Two weeks later, on November 8, a choreography version followed, from the same director.

We Lost The Summer, and a video to watch with eye contact
We Lost The Summer (Korean title: 날씨를 잃어버렸어, “I lost the weather”) got its own video on November 13, 2020, directed by Nuri Jeong (COSMO). Each member had a teaser for it too.

The summer they really lost
For TXT, the lost summer wasn’t only a song title. Weverse Magazine, HYBE’s own magazine, notes that the pandemic hit just as TXT were about to start their first world tour. Suddenly they couldn’t meet fans in Korea, let alone abroad. Weverse Magazine: OUR LOST SUMMER
The group finally toured the U.S. in July 2022, ending at Lollapalooza in Chicago. The documentary about that tour was called TOMORROW X TOGETHER: OUR LOST SUMMER, a nod back to We Lost The Summer.
Our take: A song called “I lost the weather,” released in the fall of 2020, says a lot about a year when summer plans disappeared. Blue Hour doesn’t try to tell a big chapter story. It captures a feeling.
