The name says it all. According to Sony Music Japan, IVE means “I HAVE”: a promise to show what “I” and “we” have, with confidence and in their own style. Since debuting in December 2021, IVE have collected 82 music show trophies, two world tours and two trips to Tokyo Dome. Their next EP, Looks Can Kill, arrives on October 26, 2026.

Here’s who IVE are, how they got here, and three ways to start.

Who are IVE?

IVE are a six-member South Korean group from STARSHIP Entertainment: YUJIN, GAEUL, REI, WONYOUNG, LIZ and LEESEO. They debuted on December 1, 2021. Sony Music Japan: IVE profile

The milestones

Sony’s profile lists the big moments:

Five things to notice

  1. The name is a sentence. I HAVE = IVE. The member films and the first tour are both called SHOW WHAT I HAVE, and the second tour SHOW WHAT I AM.
  2. Many releases have two or three title tracks. I’VE MINE had three: Baddie, Off The Record and Either Way.
  3. Japan has its own releases. Sony lists Japanese EPs including WAVE (2023), Be Alright (2025) and LUCID DREAM (2026), each a No. 1 on Oricon’s weekly charts.
  4. Records keep stacking up. The win count went from 37 (2022) to 70 (2025) to 82 (2026), by Sony’s count.
  5. Pre-release songs matter. REBEL HEART and BANG BANG both came out before their releases and won trophies of their own.

Our take: IVE are a group to follow through their title tracks. Each era has a clear lead song, and the table above is a ready-made playlist.

Short on time? Play one title track from each year. ELEVEN (2021), LOVE DIVE (2022), I AM (2023), HEYA (2024), REBEL HEART (2025) and BANG BANG (2026).

Want depth? Read the album guides in order. Start with ELEVEN, then I’ve IVE and IVE EMPATHY.

Here for the members? Start with the six films. Watch them in release order: YUJIN, REI, LEESEO, LIZ, GAEUL, WONYOUNG.
