IVE’s official Japan site has opened pre-orders for Looks Can Kill and names October 26 as its Korean release date. Regional retail timing needs a separate check.
What the official announcement confirms
An October 7, 2026 notice on IVE’s Japan official site identifies the EP Looks Can Kill and gives October 26, 2026 as its Korean release date. Pre-orders with Japan-specific bonuses have opened. Official announcement
The named editions
The notice lists GIRL HERO, HERO COMICS, HERO ON SET and LOVED IVE versions. It describes store-specific benefits and says products or benefits end when stock runs out. Editions and benefit terms
Our buying question is simple: which package would you still want without a bonus? Compare that edition first, then consider the seller’s additional items. Random benefits are a selection mechanism, not a guarantee of receiving a particular member.
A Korean release date is not an overseas delivery promise
The Japan notice says sales begin as products arrive. It does not establish one delivery date for every country. Release information
If you are reading from outside Korea, distinguish the music release, local store availability and delivery estimate. That separation makes a release calendar useful even when different shops show different arrival dates.
Our perspective: from a title to a listening question
Looks Can Kill is an attention-grabbing title. Our editorial question is how its presentation might sit alongside IVE’s earlier framing of self-expression and connection. That is a question to investigate when the release is available, rather than a conclusion about the songs.
IVE’s earlier releases I’ve IVE and IVE EMPATHY are two reference points; find our IVE coverage on the IVE artist page. A useful comparison should identify a specific change in the music or presentation, with evidence, instead of treating a striking name as a complete concept explanation.
