A2O LITE for Beginners: Nine Girls, Nine Colors and the Debut Single NEON

Mix enough colors of light and you get something new. That’s the idea behind A2O LITE, the girl group that debuted on October 13, 2026, with the digital single NEON. According to A2O Entertainment, each of the nine members has her own color, and each color started with a moment that shaped her: the first thing she liked, the first thing she loved.

This guide covers who they are, the company behind them, how the debut rolled out, and where to start.

Who are A2O LITE?

A2O LITE are a girl group from A2O Entertainment. The company’s official site describes them as “girls with different colors who come together to create a new light.” Their music and performance, it says, show how those different colors and personalities meet. A2O Entertainment official site

A2O LITE debuted the same day as A2O’s boy group, A2O SOUL. The company’s first girl group is A2O MAY, who debuted in December 2024.

Our take: The name says it plainly. LITE sounds like “light,” and the concept is about light: separate colors adding up to one bright beam.

Meet the nine members

Nine members appear in NEON. The official site lists them in this order:

Four of them got their own debut trailers on the A2O WORLD channel, which also give the Korean spellings of their names:

The company behind them

A2O stands for “Alpha to Omega.” The company says it wants fans and artists to work together from the beginning of a project to its end. A2O Entertainment official site

Its music is called Zalpha Pop, for Gen Z and Gen Alpha, and it hopes those fans will create, not just listen. The company calls that idea Play2Create.

A2O also describes a training system, A2O ROOKIES, built on the experience of producer S.M. LEE, “a pioneer of the Korean idol industry.” The Korean and Japanese versions of the site name him as Lee Soo-man (이수만). The NEON video descriptions credit him: “Zalpha Pop by A2O. Produced by S.M. LEE. Presented by A2O Entertainment.”

The day after the single came out, the group’s own channel posted a short “NEON OUT NOW” video.

Three things to notice

  1. The video came first. NEON’s music video went up a day before the song itself, on October 12.
  2. A2O’s own camera tech. On October 24, the A2O LITE channel posted NEON INFINITE CLIP 1, made with Infinite Studio. A2O calls it its 4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS) technology, with the tagline “From a camera that captures, to a camera that creates.” The description credits the technology to 4DV.ai.
  3. Two groups, one day. A2O LITE and A2O SOUL both released their first songs on October 13 at 6 p.m.

Our take: A2O hasn’t explained in detail what “a camera that creates” means for the viewer. Watch the INFINITE CLIP next to the music video and see whether the camera work feels different to you.
